What happens during initial consultation?
We will analyse your requirements and provide you with a plan of action to proceed. If you are doing migration, we will explain what is involved in a migration task. If it is cluster design, we will collect requirements and help you understand how the planned cluster will look like and what you could expect once cluster is up and running.
Time required for initial consultation depends on the type of task, initial consultation of a migration may take around 1 hour, however a cluster design may need 3 hours.

Can investigation and fixes be clubbed?
Yes. For example, if we take 20 minutes to investigate, and 40 minutes to fix, we will bill you for only for 1 hour.

You get credits for hours remaining. You may use them anytime within 1 year.

Yes. When you buy more than 2 hours from us, you’ll get bulk discounts that range from 12% to 34%.
How much will it cost for my work to be done?
Many of the common issues such as error resolution, web/database recovery, etc. takes only about 1-2 hours to complete. This equates to a maximum $180, or if you’re a Bobcares member, $60.
However, it’s important to note that each server has its own unique configuration, and the complexity of the issue can vary from one server to another.
So, the exact extent of the work on your server can be more or less than the average time estimate. To prevent cost-overruns, we work on 30-minute increments if the work isn’t finished during first 1 hour (during the initial consultation).

Can I rollover un-used time to future tasks?
No, but not to worry. We have a fine-tuned billing process to prevent excesses.
We begin with a very conservative estimate, and if additional houses are needed, we will bill in increments of 30 minutes so that you only pay for time that you absolutely need.

How long do my hours remain valid?
They remain for up to 1 year. Many of our customers pre-pay for hours and use them as and when they need them.
