How to set up Installatron in DirectAdmin?

A full-featured server software called Installatron enables customers to quickly and easily install one of more than 50 well-liked scripts. In order to increase server security, Installatron also enables us to automatically update web applications (including plugins and themes).

Before upgrading web apps, Installatron can be set up to back up the website. If the upgrade fails, it can also be set up to restore a backup. For DirectAdmin, Tilaa does not by default include Installatron. However, we can install it following the setup of a Linux server.

Steps

1. Access the server using SSH.

2. To obtain the Installatron installation script, type the following command:

wget https://data.installatron.com/installatron-plugin.sh 

3. To make the script executable, use chmod:

chmod +x installatron-plugin.sh 

4. Use the following command to launch Installatron:

sudo ./installatron-plugin.sh -f 

5. After installation, delete the installation script:

rm installatron-plugin.sh 

All of the users can now access Installatron through the Installatron Applications Installer. The admin user will see an Installatron Admin button at the ‘admin’ and ‘reseller’ levels. Resellers will see an Installatron Admin button at their ‘reseller’ level and an Installatron Applications Installer button at the ‘user’ level. And website owners will see an Installatron Applications Installer button at the ‘user’ level.
