How to Fix the FTP Error 530 in SolidCP Server?
When the username and password for the FTP login are not created in SolidCP, it will lead to the 530 users not logging in or an invalid login. By following these steps, we may create an FTP account in SolidCP and resolve the issue.
1. Initially, sign in to SolidCP.
2. Then, click on the icon for FTP accounts under the System section.
3. On Create FTP Account, we can also add a new FTP account.
4. Then, enter the FTP account password and username. The directory path where the FTP user will land can be chosen under Home Folder. After checking the Read and Write box, press the Update button.
5. After it is created, the added FTP account will also appear in FTP accounts.
Also, verify that the password we used to create the FTP account matches the one we used to log in to FTP. Alternatively, we could have to adjust a setting in the user directory + username auth that has been created in IIS Management, check auth, go on to the FTP Default permissions, adjust the isolation mode, and choose the username directory that doesn’t require isolation.
If the FTP User Group Name in the SolidCP Panel does not match the FTP User Role that was formed, then we should update the name in SolidCP by removing the FTP accounts and creating them again after the correction.
