We can schedule and send backups to remote sites (local/sftp) using CyberPanel on a daily or weekly basis.

Managing Server Backup Destinations

First, make any necessary custom local or SFTP storage locations.

1. Choose Add/Delete Destination from Backup.

2. Using the drop-down option, choose either local or SFTP.

3. Set up the location for the backup.

4. Click on Add Destination.

5. Using the red “X” button, you can remove backups from the list at the bottom.

Creating a Server Backup Schedule

We must make sure the rsync is set up before automating backups.

1. Choose Backup > Schedule Backup from the menu.

2. Click on a destination that was made in the previous “Add/Delete Destination” stages.

3. Give the backup timetable a name.

4. The frequency drop-down list has three options: Never, Daily, or Weekly.

5. Give a value (“0” indicates that no backups are automatically erased) for the number of backups to keep.

6. Press the Add Schedule button.

7. Update the page (F5).

8. In the “Manage Existing Backup Schedules” section at the bottom, choose the destination.

9. Pick the task, or backup plan, that you recently made. A backup schedule can also be deleted from here.

10. Click Add Site after selecting specific sites to back up from the list. Alternately, click Add All.

Restoring a Server Backup

1. Click Backup and then Restore Backup.

2. From the drop-down option, pick a backup.

3. As necessary, make changes.
