Installing SolidCP Standalone Server

To Download and install the SolidCP Installer follow the steps given below:

  1. Firstly, launch the install.
  2. After that, if asked if it’s a security concern, click more info, then “Run Anyway.”
  3. Finally, choose a location to save the process.

Run the SolidCP installer:

  1. Firstly, Click the see available components button.
  2. Select the “Stand alone Installer”.
  3. After that, a set of instructions will open up on the screen. Follow the instructions.
  4. It is important to make sure to enter the right SQL information.
  5. Finally, make certain that the password is the same as the Server admin.

Configuring IIS

Open IIS Management to set up the IIS. Select Application pools. This is the next step to Install SolidCP Standalone server.

  1. Firstly, click: -> Advanced options… for each SolidCP Application pool.
  2. After that, change the start mode to “AlwaysRunning.”
  3. Idle Time-Out (Minutes) must be “0”.
  4. After that, regular Time Intervals (Minutes) must also be “0”.
  5. Finally, click the “Save” button:

Once everything is in place, we may go on to the Website Properties.

For each of the SolidCP websites follow the steps:

  1. Navigate to authentication -> Verify if Windows Authentication is enabled -> If yes, choose Disable.
  2. After that go to the machine key –> click “Generate key” –> click Apply.

For SolidCP Portal: Go to site settings -> bindings -> add any binding (for example https, or http panel.userdomain.com)

Inside SolidCP Portal

  1. Log in to the SolidCP Portal using the user ServerAdmin. Use the login details we gave during the SolidCP Standalone setup.
  2. Go to the Account menu and then to Hosting Plans.
  3. Deselect “Disable tenant to create top level domains”.
  4. Finally, go over more options and turn off any that we don’t have or want.
