The porrcess is easy all that we have to do is to Just rename and transfer the AutoSSL Sqlite3 database, and it will be regenerated when AutoSSL is restarted. This file is found in the directory /var/cpanel/autossl queue cpanel.sqlite.

How to clear stuck AutoSSL queue in cPanel?

The cPanel AutoSSL function is fantastic, however it can occasionally cause problems. Every now and again, we may have some certificate requests that are waiting indefinitely for no apparent reason.

Often, this may be resolved by emptying the queue and forcing AutoSSL to run for the stuck domain again.

    1. Firstly, Change the name of the AutoSSL database file:

      mv /var/cpanel/autossl_queue_cpanel.sqlite /var/cpanel/autossl_queue_cpanel.sqlite.bak

    2. After that, in WHM, select the AutoSSL option.

      WHM - SSL/TLS - Manage AutoSSL

    3. Choose the Pending Queue tab (there should be nothing waiting to be processed after the action in step #1);
    4. Choose the user who experienced the prior issue and then click Perform AutoSSL Check for that user on the Manage Users page;
    5. Finally, to track the progression, we may return to the Pending Queue tab.

(We may safely remove “/var/cpanel/autossl queue cpanel.sqlite.bak” after the issue is rectified.)

Step 2

We may utilize the “Clear AutoSSL Queue” option in cPanel to empty the cPanel AutoSSL queue.

This option clears the queue of any existing SSL certificate renewal requests, enabling the AutoSSL process to restart and attempt to issue new SSL certificates for the affected domains.

Use these procedures to access the “Clear AutoSSL Queue” option in cPanel:

  1. Sign in to your cPanel account.
  2. Go to the cPanel “SSL/TLS Status” or “SSL/TLS” section.
  3. We can See if we can find the “Clear AutoSSL Queue” option.
  4. To clear any pending SSL certificate renewal requests, click the “Clear AutoSSL Queue” button.

After clearing the AutoSSL queue, the AutoSSL operation will restart and attempt to issue fresh SSL certificates for the impacted domains.

If any underlying issues are causing SSL certificate renewal to fail, then we have to fix these before granting new SSL certificates.
