In our role as Web support specialists, we resolve and prevent service errors in both Linux and Windows servers. Recently we were contacted by a Windows server owner who was getting “HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable” in his websites.
Upon examining the EventViewer logs, we could see the error “A process serving application pool ‘plesk(default)(4.0)(pool)’ suffered a fatal communication error with the Windows Process Activation Service”. (more…)
In our role as Server administration specialists for server owners, website errors are a commonly encountered issue that we resolve for them.
‘503 service unavailable error’ is one such website error. Recently, we were contacted by a Docker hosting provider who was getting this error in his website.
In Odin Plesk Windows servers, customers sometimes report their sites being unavailable with the error showing : “HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.” This usually happens after a major change like a migration, site restore, etc., and leads to all sites of the user being unavailable. (more…)
