Xenapp Error Code 2524
The solution our Support Techs provide here is applicable to the products, Citrix Gateway and Citrix Workspace App.
The most common symptom of this error is the error code returned by the Citrix Gateway to the CWA app when application/desktop launch fails:
Failed to launch session <session_name>. Error code: 2524

How to fix Xenapp Error Code 2524?
Generally, this error indicates failure to establish a connection with VDA (Virtual Delivery Agent) IP address from Citrix Gateway.
To resolve this issue, we verify if VDA is reachable to Citrix Gateway.
Then, in order to verify the reachability from the Gateway, we create a service to the VDA on ports 1494/ 2598 on the Gateway:
> add service vda1 192.168.1.1 TCP 2598
> add service vda2 192.168.1.1 TCP 1494
If the output for this service marks as UP, then there is no issue with the reachability.
