Let’s take a closer look at Cloudflare Blacklisteing IP Addresses.

Cloudflare Blacklisted My IP. Why?

We may occasionally encounter websites using Cloudflare that deny us access to their content. We may also have to go through numerous Captcha checks in order to access nearly all websites under Cloudflare protection. This could be due to the IP address being blacklisted. This usually happens when Cloudflare blacklists users with a static IP address or IP addresses showing abusive nature. Now let’s see some of the error messages we usually encounter. We also look into the possible reasons for those errors and finally, the resolution to the errors.

Errors 1006, 1007, 1008, or 1106: Access Denied

Users may see the above message when trying to access some websites. The possible reasons are:

  • A Cloudflare customer blocks traffic from the user’s client or browser.
  • When a customer uses Zone Lockdown 58 or any other Cloudflare security feature to block the Google Cloud Platform IPs that the Preview tab relies on.
Resolution

Request that the website owner investigates their Cloudflare security settings or allows the client IP address to access the website.

Error 1010: The Owner Of This Website Has Banned Access Based On The Browser’s Signature

The possible reason for the above error is:

  • Based on the client’s web browser, a website owner blocked the request.
Resolution

Inform the website’s owner about the blocking. If we can’t figure out how to contact the website’s owner, use the Whois database to look up contact information for the domain. Owners of websites can disable Browser Integrity via the Firewall app’s Settings tab.

Error 1012: Access Denied

The common cause for this error is:

  • The owner of a website restricts access based on malicious activity detected on the visitor’s computer or network (IP address). A virus or malware infection on the visitor’s computer is the most likely cause.
Resolution

Run a full system scan after updating the antivirus software.

Error 1020: Access Denied

The user may see this error when:

  • A Cloudflare customer’s Firewall Rules have blocked a client or browser.
Resolution

If we are the website owner, then

  1. Firstly, take a screenshot of the 1020 error from the customer
  2. Now look for the RayID or client IP Address from the visitor’s 1020 error message in the Firewall Events Log 10 on the Overview tab of the Cloudflare Firewall app.
  3. When searching in the Firewall Events Log, convert the UTC timestamp of the 1020 error to the local timezone.
  4. Finally, determine the cause of the block and update the Firewall Rule or allow the visitor’s IP address in IP Access Rules 17.

If we are not the website’s owner, send a screenshot of the 1020 error message to the website’s owner. Several browser extensions can be installed to prevent the use of cookies 16. Many people use this feature to browse anonymously.

However, when accessing a Cloudflare powered website, these tools may be the source of the issue. As a result, it is critical to check if one is installed in the browser and temporarily disable it to see if the problem is resolved. Another option is to directly contact the sites. Then ask them to look into why they’re blocking access.

Attorneys are in the 1st degree not putting their clients in right. Thousands of deaths per year, and when I discovered this, the criminals blocked my Norton LifeLock security with CLOUDFLARE, who is working with the crooks.

Avast anti virus conflicts with Norton LifeLock 360. Avast can be turned off for one hour or until the computer reboots. Getting rid of one or the other will allow you to use your web browsers without a secure connection not available problem and no internet connectivity.

AVAST SHIELDS CONTROL -> Turn off protection for one hour.

Now you can get online again.
