Let’s take a closer look at the Acceleration allowed by OnApp.
Acceleration allowed OnApp
OnApp launches Accelerator, a new kind of virtual server. It enables CDN usage for any websites or virtual servers on the OnApp Cloud with a single click. So we can enjoy all the benefits of a global CDN. We do not need to go through the hassle of setting up and managing a CDN platform.
The web applications running on virtual servers do not need any changes. Also, every optimization techniques are automatic. It uses minification & lossless compression of pages, scripts, and images. So the quality of the content remains unchanged. The Accelerator also acts as a router for traffic between CDN core and CDN-enabled Virtual Servers.
Users can speed up all types of networks on OnApp. This
increase the traffic flow for the corresponding virtual server. While we enable acceleration for a network, it automatically creates an Accelerator instance.
