Beginning After Deployment

DjangoApp will be the name of the Django project assigned by the Django Marketplace App. Then we will be able to access our Django site at our Linode’s IPv4 address once Django has finished installing, an example would be http://ourlinodeip:8000.

1. Firstly, we need to determine the IPv4 address of the Linode. Select the Linodes link in the sidebar. All of our Linodes will be listed for us to see.
2. Then look for and choose the Linode that was just created when we deployed our app.
3. Then go to the tab for networking.
4. In the IPv4 table, the IP address will be shown in the Address column.
5. Then copy and paste the IPv4 address followed by:8000 into a browser window. The Django test page should now appear.
6. Then we can log in using the admin credentials we created when deploying our app once we have confirmed that we can access the Django site via the browser. Change the browser address to http://ourlinodeip:8000/admin.
7. Finally, we will have access to the Admin console once we have logged in. We can now start configuring our website.
