After we’ve edited the content, we can rearrange the page in the navigation or make it a main page/subpage. To modify the order of pages or add sub-pages, follow these steps:

  • On the left, click the “Appearance” link.
  • Then, on the left, beneath the main Appearance menu, select the “Menus” tab. Scroll down and choose the new page from the “Pages” list to add it to the navigation menu.
  • To add the new page(s) to the navigation menu, click the “Add to Menu” button underneath the list of pages in the “Pages” list.
  • Simply click the rectangle button for that page on the far right side and drag it to where we want it to appear to rearrange the order or make it a sub-page. If it is positioned as a sub-page, it will be somewhat indented.
  • To save the changes, click the “Save Menu” button at the upper right of the menu box.

How to move the wordpress move page to the Subpage?

It is possible that we already have an existing page that has to be converted into a subpage. Simply pick the menu item “Pages” to get a list of all existing pages. Then, locate the page to which we want to add a subpage and select the little menu item labeled “Quick Edit.”

A new editing window will appear, with a dropdown box named “Parents” on the right. We can also select the parent page in quick Edt. After that click on the Update button at the bottom right. The page will now automatically become a subpage.
