How to create a database in SolidCP

- First, we have to log in to SolidCP at this link.
- Then, head to the Databases section and click the MySQL database version we want to create.
- Now, we will see a list of MySQL databases added previously. We can click the Create Database button to create a new MYSQL database.
- At this point, we have to enter a name for the new database and click Save.
- Once we see the new database in the database list, it is time to create a database user by clicking the Create User button.
- Then, head to the SQL Properties page and set up the database username, and password, as well as the default database for the user we created.
How to import or restore a MySQL database to the server
- Once we create a MySQL database in the SolidCP control panel, a new user login for it we have to log in to phpMyAdmin.
We have to enter the user details we created earlier and choose the correct MySQL server hostname.
- After that, we have to choose the right database from the dropdown list.
- Next, click Import.
- Then, locate the MySQL dump backup file under the File To Import field.
- At this point, we have to use the default values in the rest of the form and click Go.
After the above steps, the database backup will be imported into the database on our server.
