Setting up the Horde webmail autoresponder

Enabling autoresponder in Horde Webmail Client

One of the customers approached us for enabling the autoresponder in Horde Webmail Client. The client required the autoresponder immediately since he was going out of office for some days.

We followed the following procedure to set up the auto responder.

1. Initially we logged in to the Horde webmail client.

2. Then we clicked the email address in top right corner, and  after that we clicked the option Autoresponder.

3. Thereafter, we clicked the button Add Autoresponder button.

4. Here, a fill up window opens. We then entered the necessary fields to add autoresponder to the emails.

5. Finally, after filling all necessary fields we clicked Create/Modify button to save the changes.

The Autoresponder have been enabled.

 

Horde interface on Plesk server

Recently, another customer requested to enable the autoresponder in Horde interface on Plesk server. The Horde package with plesk won’t allow configuring Autoresponder through its interface.

However, we enabled auto-reply in Plesk interface. For this we followed the following steps.

1. Initially, we logged into the Plesk server.

2. We then go to Domains > domain name> Email Addresses and then clicked on required email address

3. Thereafter, we browse to Auto-Reply section.

4. Here, Finally, we enabled Auto-reply by selecting the corresponding checkbox.

Thus, we helped the customer in enabling the autoresponder in Horde interface on Plesk server
