GoDaddy cPanel email forwarding can be easily configured with this quick guide by our experts.

At Bobcares, we offer solutions for every query, big and small, as a part of our cPanel WHM Support.

Let’s take a look at how our Support Team is ready to help customers with GoDaddy cPanel email forwarding.

All About GoDaddy cPanel Email Forwarding

If we have a domain with GoDaddy, it is a good idea to set up emails in order to send and receive emails via our custom domain. Furthermore, GoDaddy offers a free e-mail hosting service for up to a hundred e-mails. Moreover, these emails are sent to the specified e-mail of our choice, including free emails.

  1. First, head to the GoDaddy product page at this link.
  2. Then, head to Web Hosting next to our Linux Hosting account and select Manage.
  3. Next, select cPanel Admin from the account Dashboard.
  4. After that, select Forwarders in the Email section on the cPanel Home page.
  5. Then, add the type of forwarder we want to use.

We can add a forwarder with the following steps:

  1. First, click Add Forwarder.
  2. Then, in the Address to Forward box, type in the address to which we want to forward the incoming email.
  3. Next, choose the domain from the menu.
  4. After that, choose one of the following options:
    • Forward to email address
    • Discard and send an error to the sender (at SMTP time)

We can also choose from the following options after clicking Advanced Options:

    • Forward to a system account
    • Pipe to a program
    • Discard
  5. Finally, click Add Forwarder.

At the end of the day, using email forwarding is an easy task as long as you follow the steps above.

The firwarding doesn’t seem to work for gmail, yahoo and AOL email addresses.

      Hello Walter,
GoDaddy cPanel forwarding might have SPF record issues, try adding SPF inclusions for Gmail, Yahoo & AOL in your domain’s DNS settings.
