How to Setup Laravel Forge with AWS?

The Laravel apps may be easily and quickly set up on Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Laravel Forge. Here is the guide for configuring Laravel Forge with AWS:

1. Go to the “Servers” tab after logging into the Laravel Forge account.

2. Click “Create Server” and then choose “Amazon Web Services” as the cloud service provider.

3. Select the server size and configuration that best suits the needs of the application, along with the preferred AWS region.

4. Type the AWS Access Key ID and Secret Access Key in the “Credentials” area. When interacting with the AWS account, Laravel Forge uses these credentials.

5. Choose an existing SSH key pair or start a new one. For secure SSH access to the server, this essential pair will be utilized.

6. Choose the database type (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.), the PHP version, and the server name.

7. As an option, we can also set up load balancers, firewall rules, and scheduled tasks.

8. Lastly, check the settings, then click “Create Server” to start the AWS setup procedure.

The provisioning of the server on AWS, including the creation of the required infrastructure components, will then be handled by Laravel Forge. Nginx, PHP, and the database server, among other programs, will be installed and configured by the desired settings.

Once the configuration is finished, we will be given the server’s IP address and other pertinent information. Then, we can use SSH or the Forge dashboard to log into the server.
