Auto-forwarding in Zimbra
Zimbra has both client and server parts, and it previously provided a desktop email client by the name of Zimbra Desktop. There are two versions of Zimbra: one is open-source and the other is commercial. With open-source mail clients, Zimbra is able to synchronize calendar, contact, and mail information.
Auto-forwarding is a helpful feature for email accounts expecting messages significant enough to need a prompt reply. The steps to set up an auto-forwarding email in Zimbra are as follows:
- Go to the Zimbra mail web client.
- Then access the email account.
- Toggle to the Preference Tab.
- Go to the Mail Tab.
- Enter your email address in the receiving messages section.
- Select “Save” and “Exit.”
Auto-BCC in Zimbra
We’ve to type in the following codes on the command-line prompt to set up auto-bcc in Zimbra:
- Using SSH, we can connect to the Zimbra server and log in as the super admin user.
# su zimbra

$ cd /opt/zimbra/conf
- We use the below code to confirm the folder’s location.
$ pwd
