A customised block of text at the bottom of an email is known as an email signature.

There is no option to apply a signature to your email in the Webmail interface (cPanel > Home » Email Accounts » Check Email). We’ll need to configure signatures in the Webmail Client we’re using.

Follow these steps to generate an email signature in the Roundcube Webmail Client:

  • Firstly,connect to Roundcube.
  • After that, click Settings in the side menu bar.
  • Click Identities in the first panel.
  • After that, Choose an existing identity or click Create to create a new one.
  • Enter the appropriate signature in the Signature text box.
  • Finally, save the file.

How to add an image to the signature in Roundcube

Follow these instructions to add an image to the Roundcube Webmail Client’s signature:

  • Click the html editor button in the upper left corner of the Signature box ().
  • Click the insert/edit picture icon in the toolbar ().
  • Click the folder icon in the Insert/edit image box ().
  • Choose Add picture.
  • Choose a picture to upload.
  • Please keep in mind that the picture file size must be less than the maximum permissible file size as indicated in the interface.
  • JPEG or GIF image files are required.
  • Click Close in the bottom right corner.
  • Click the picture name in the Choose Filename box.
  • Enter the image’s desired dimensions.
  • Choose OK.
  • Finally, click Save beneath the Signature box.
Important notes

When we utilise the HTML editor to write messages, the picture only displays in the signature. Use these procedures to compose all HTML messages in Roundcube:

  • Go to Settings > Preferences » Message Composing.
  • Choose Always in the Compose HTML messages option under the Main Options setting.
  • Finally, Save the file.
