by | Mar 28, 2023

Let us look at how to create vps virtualizor. With the support of our Virtualizor support services at Bobcares we can give you a complete guide note how to set this up.

How to Create a VPS?

create vps virtualizor

Choose “Virtual Servers -> Create Vps” from the menu. If we create a VPS from a Windows ISO, we must manually delete the system reserved partition once the VPS is created, and then ONLY Virtualizor will be able to execute activities such as changing the password and activating RDP.

Fill in all the details here and then click on “Add Virtual Server”.

CPU Parameters to create vps virtualizor

  • CPU Units: This is simply a value of the VPS. Assume there are two VPS with varying weights. For example, VPS 101 with 1000 and VPS 102 with 2000.

When the physical CPU is not available, the CPU Units determine the priority of CPU resources to allote to each VM. As a result, of all available CPU Time / Resources, VPS 101 will receive 1/3rd = 1000 / (1000 + 2000) and VPS 102 will receive 2/3rd = 2000 / (1000 + 2000) of the CPU resources.

  • CPU Cores: This is an easy concept to grasp. This is the number of Virtual Cores to allot to the VPS.
  • CPU%: The maximum percentage of the physical core that the VPS can use, depending on the number of cores provided. Assume the physical CPU has four cores.

If we allocate four cores to a VPS and set the CPU percentage to 400%, the VPS will be able to use all four cores to their full potential. This is important to create vps virtualizor.

  • CPU% in the case of KVM is the maximum number of cores that may be used on the server. Total core(s) allotted to VPS x 100 Equals CPU% value.
Example 1:

If we have a VPS with four cores and want to use just two cores on the host server, we may set the CPU% to 50. 2 4 x 100 = 50 (CPU%).

Example 2:

If we have a VPS with four cores and want it to use only one core on the host server, we may set the CPU% to 25. 1 4 x 100 = 25 (CPU%).

Please keep in mind that each CPU core is equivalent to one physical core. Its behavior may alter depending on the base operating system. This is the final step to create vps virtualizor.

Network Settings: Upload Speed: This is the VPS’s upload speed. If we enter -1 as the Upload speed, it will be the same as the Download speed.
