Now let’s see how our Support Engineers help our customers in fixing this error.
Missing Zabbix server
Recently, one of our customers approached us with the same error. He was upgrading a Debian distro that had Zabbix installed in it.
Our Engineers checked his server and found that the Zabbix database server was not installed in it.
For that, we ran the command:
apt-get install zabbix-server-mysql
And this solved the problem.
First installation
In some cases, if the customer is installing Zabbix for the first time, then they probably have not imported schema.sql, images.sql, and data.sql files yet.
In that case, we simply follow all the Zabbix installation steps and install it to our customers.
This fixes the error as well.
