How to Enable WebP on Litespeed Server

In order to enable WebP image replacement in Litespeed, we have to enable Image WebP Replacement.

Once we turn this option ON, Image Optimization generates images in the WebP format. Additionally, it optimizes the original images.

Furthermore, once we enable this option, LiteSpeed serves WebP images instead of jpg or png to browsers where it is supported.

In case an unsupported browser makes the request, the LSCache serves a version of the original image file format to that specific browser.
