Now let’s get into the solution part of this error. We shall now see the steps that our Support Engineers provide to our customers to resolve this error.

1. Initially, check if any Windows firewall rule is blocking a certain port.

2. Secondly, make sure that you don’t have any kind of trouble in allowing other computers to communicate with your computer through Windows Firewall. You can try using the Incoming Connections troubleshooter to automatically find and fix some common problems.

3. Check if any services are not working. The reason behind it can be the Net.tcp port sharing service. If this service is stopped or having any issue then Exchange will not install. Then you would need to start this service to continue with Exchange setup.

4. Make sure to enable the IPv6. Also, ensure that the AD Subnet configuration is as per the Exchange environment.

5. Remove the additional references to the legacy forest. However, don’t remove “Microsoft Exchange Online”. It is a default entry and is used when you create a Hybrid deployment with Office 365.

6. Then you need to start the Exchange AD Topology service

7. After you modify the records with the new Domain Controller IP, make sure to clean the cache in DNS and also the local cache of the Exchange Server with the ipconfig /flushdns command.

Finally, this way we can get rid of Exchange error 4027.
