How to restore the backup in Virtualizor? Let’s see the steps in this article. At Bobcares, we can handle your server-related issues with our Server Management Services.

How to restore the backup in Virtualizor?

With the help of the robust web-based Virtualizor VPS Control Panel, users can deploy and manage VPS on servers with only one click. In order to restore the VPS, we must go to Backup >> Restore VPS Backups. The restore VPS backup page and the task page will both be updated once the restore process has begun. We can select the VPS backups using one of two methods:

  1. Select Backup VPS
  2. Select Server

Select Backup VPS

After choosing the VPS we want to restore, we will see a list of backups that are currently accessible. The backup plan for the VPS will be updated for the selected server and selected directory. We can choose a date to restore a VPS to that particular date.

Select Server

In this method, we’ve to:

1. First, choose the server that has a VPS.

2. Choose the directory that contains the VPS backup.

3. Select the date of the VPS backup.

Following that, we will receive a list of all the different VPS backups, from which we may choose which VPS to restore. Additionally, if the VPS backup is located in a directory other than the directory shown in the drop-down menu, there is another option that allows us to specify the location of the VPS backup. Here

1. First, choose the server that has a VPS.

2. Choose the directory that contains the VPS backup.

3. To scan a directory, enter its path and press the scan button.

4. Choose the date for the VPS backup.

Different methods of restoring VPS

1. Restore: Restore the backup in the same VPS when we choose ‘Restore’.

2. Restore to new VPS: We can restore the backup in a whole new VPS by choosing this option. Also, we can select the server on which VPS will be restored. Then click the Restore option.

3. Restore to new Server: Here, we need to click on Restore to new VPS. Then select the user. Then select the server to which we need to restore the VM as a new VM. The storage will be loaded when we select the server. Then click the Restore option.
