Installation Instructions

Debian 10 note: Before installing on Debian 10, enable buster-backports:  echo "deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian buster-backports main" /etc/apt/sources.list.d/backports.list apt-get update

  1. Firstly, Get the license key to proceed with the Imunify360 Stand-alone setup.
  2. Log in as root to the server where Imunify360 should be installed.
  3. Navigate to the home directory and perform the following commands to deploy the Imunify360 Stand-alone setup :

    wget https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/defence360/i360deploy.sh -O i360deploy.sh bash i360deploy.sh --key USER_KEY

Note here, USER KEY denotes the licensing key. Substitute the real key for USER KEY. Use the —beta argument to install the Imunify360 beta version. For example:

bash i360deploy.sh --key YOUR_KEY --beta

SELinux (Security Enhanced Linux) support

Install the Imunify360 SELinux policy module if SELinux, is already set up on the server. The sestatus command can check the status of SELinux. The policy includes Imunify360 package and is present at /opt/alt/python38/share/imunify360/imunify360.te. Installing the SELinux makes it easy to go through the policy-making Imunify360 Stand-alone setup and management much easier.

To apply it, run the following commands:

checkmodule -M -m -o /var/imunify360/imunify360.mod /opt/alt/python38/share/imunify360/imunify360.te semodule_package -o /var/imunify360/imunify360.pp -m /var/imunify360/imunify360.mod semodule -i /var/imunify360/imunify360.pp

Then, restart the imunify360 and imunify360-webshield services. CentOS 6/CloudLinux6:

service imunify360 restart
service imunify360-webshield restart

For alternative systems:

systemctl restart imunify360 systemctl restart imunify360-webshield

If the checkmodule command is missing, please install it: CentOS 8 and CloudLinux 8:

yum install policycoreutils-python-utils

Troubleshooting

Imunify UI requires the proc open PHP function to be enabled in DirectAdmin. If the Imunify UI cannot be opened, a notification in the web server error log will be shown. If this is the case, please remove it from the list of disabled functions in php.ini.
