Microsoft announced the general availability of the Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1 on August 25th (They released the beta in June in case you missed it). Like the SP for Server 2008R2, this SP also includes more than just bug fixes. For a list of features and functionality added via SP1, check out this link.
SP1 has been available to the general public for only a few days, but has been in production in various customer environments since April. That is, for customers that are part of Microsoft’s Technology Adoption Program(TAP).The Technology Adoption Program (TAP) at Microsoft® is designed to provide a consistent experience for customers partnering with Microsoft in obtaining real world customer feedback on Microsoft pre-release products..
