The most common reason for this error to occur is index.php missing in the DirectoryIndex section in httpd.conf file. Setting an improper PHP version also becomes a cause to trigger this error message in Nagios.

In some cases, you will not have permission to access the requested object due to improper permissions set to the files and folders.

Then we search for the below code.

We then change the code as below by adding the index.php.

Finally, this fixed the error efficiently.

yum install php-5.x
