• First, we have to check the available disk space on the host system where the virtual disk image is located.
• Next, if we have enough free space on the host filesystem, we can resize the virtual disk again using qemu-img. However, we have to make sure we specify a target size within the available free space.

  For example, if we want to resize a virtual disk named “ourvirtualdisk.img” to 100GB, we can use this command:

  qemu-img resize ourvirtualdisk.img 100G
