Steps to Use Snappymail after a CyberPanel Setup

Sometimes, users may find it difficult to use the Snappymail admin panel after a recent CyberPanel upgrade. This happens since the completion message doesn’t contain any details for login. In this article, we’ll look into some simple solutions to fix the issue:

Solution 1

1. Initially, Go to /usr/local/lscp/cyberpanel/rainloop/data/_data_/_default_/configs/ and edit the application.ini file. We can do this by commenting out the admin_password line.

2. Now, restart the server.

3. Then, create a new admin login by using https://example.com:8090/snappymail/?admin.

4. Go to /usr/local/lscp/cyberpanel/rainloop/data/_data_/_default_/ and copy the details from the admin_password.txt file.

5. Lastly, go to https://example.com:8090/snappymail/?admin. Then, log in using the username admin and password we got from the text file and leave the TOTP field blank.

Solution 2

In order to find the admin dashboard password on an Ubuntu VM, we can try running the below code in the CLI:

snappymail cyberpanel

Then, we will find the Password of the mail and (Ctrl+X) to exit NANO edit.
