How to disable 2FA on Cloudflare? Read the article to find out. At Bobcares, with our Server Management Service, we can handle your Cloudflare issues.
Disabling 2FA on Cloudflare
In addition to the standard username and password combination, 2FA requires a second form of verification, which adds an extra layer of security. As we are taking away the account’s extra protection, disabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a delicate operation. We must remove any security keys and TOTP authenticators from the Cloudflare account in order to disable 2FA.
Let’s see the steps:
1. Open the Cloudflare dashboard and log in.
2. Click on My Profile.
3. Choose the Authentication option.
4. In order to get rid of the security key:
i. On the Security Key Authentication card, choose Edit. A drop-down option provides additional security key details.
ii. Click Delete.
iii. After putting in the Cloudflare password, click Remove.
5. To stop the authentication of the TOTP mobile application:
i. On the Mobile App Authentication card, choose the Delete method.
ii. After entering a recovery code, the Cloudflare password, or an authenticator application code, click Disable.

Conclusion
Consider checking and upgrading other security settings, such as the password, after turning off 2FA. Make sure the password is difficult to guess and strong.
