What is DirectAdmin Mail Queue Administration?
One of the particular capabilities enjoyed by the admin of a DirectAdmin server is the ability to manage mail. A server administrator can use DirectAdmin to manage the emails in the queue by using the Mail Queue Administration tool.
How to Use it?
1. Access the DirectAdmin admin account by logging in.
2. Click on Mail Queue Administration under the Admin Tools section. It will launch the Mail Queue Admin panel. The email queue or list is visible here.
3. From the queue, pick the email or emails. A selection of multiple options will appear above the list.
Thaw:
Unfreeze a message in the mail. Exim will attempt to deliver the message in the queue once more.
Freeze:
Put an end to any efforts to send the email. For a while, the email will stay in the queue while we look into what caused it to be frozen.
Retry:
Try delivering the email again. Exim will attempt again to deliver the email at the time specified in the exim.conf file. At any moment, we are still able to compel a retry.
Bounce:
Notifies the sender that their email cannot be delivered.
Warning:
Not many people find it enjoyable to bounce emails. Every undeliverable email is automatically flagged as spam by most systems. After that, the email will bounce back to an uninvolved individual, resulting in collateral spam.
Delete:
Either delete the email or take it out of the queue.
4. In order to thaw, freeze, retry, bounce, or delete the emails, click the corresponding button.
