How we install imunify360 cPanel?

Purchasing key

For installing Imunify360, we need a software activation key or an IP-based license.

Web hosting providers will provide this activation key if the Imunify360 is purchased through them.

This key is received to the email address which was provided while opening the account. After getting the key we can proceed with the installation of Imunify360.

While purchasing, we can request either an activation key or an IP-based license directly. According to this, the installation command has slight variations.

 

Installing imunify360

At first, we Logged in to the server with root privileges, where we have to install Imunify360.

Then we ran the below command in the home directory of the user.

wget https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/defence360/i360deploy.sh

After that, we ran the below command with the activation key received while purchasing Imunify360.

bash i360deploy.sh --key ACTIVATION_KEY

 

In case, if we are using IP based license, we run the command,

wget https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/defence360/i360deploy.sh
bash i360deploy.sh

Now, the Imunify360 has been installed on the server.

After the script has been deployed, we can check with the WHM. We will see that the Imunify360 is now available in the plugin section of WHM.
