Let’s check on how to Replace cPanel with CyberPanel procedure, this process is to move your site from cPanel to CyberPanel.

Step 1: Download Files from cPanel

Here are a few steps to download files from cPanel:

1.1 Login to cPanel:

Initially, we need to move/transfer a site from cPanel to CyberPanel by logging into your cPanel account.

1.2 Compress Files in cPanel:

Login to the cPanel site >> Select the File Manager option in the cPanel dashboard >> then open the public_html folder.

Select and compress all the files present under the Public_html folder. The compression type can be selected as a Zip archive and click on Compress File(s).

1.3 Download the compressed file

Now a compressed file will be present in the public_html, once compression is completed you need to select this file and download it on your local computer.

Step 2: Export Database from cPanel

Further, we will move on to the database part. A database is the most important part of the site, as each site relies on its own database for internal links and other features. To import a Database from cPanel follow the below steps:

2.1 Open PhpMYAdmin:

From the cPanel dashboard select the PHPMyadmin Option. A dashboard will open where you can select and export the database.

2.2 Export Data Base:

Now select the database related to your website and click on the Export option on top. Select the file type as “zip” or “MySQL” when you want to export.

The exported database will now save a compressed database file on your local computer.

Step 3: Create a Website on CyberPanel

3.1 Login to CyberPanel:

Here you need to log in to the CyberPanel dashboard using your credentials.

3.2 Create a Website:

Once logged in go to the Websites >> click on Create website option on the left side of the CyberPanel dashboard. Then fill in the website details to create the site. Provide the exact URL of the site when you create the site.

You can select the required features from the last Additional features option >> then click on Create website.

Step 4. Upload content on CyberPanel

Once you have completed the website creation process. Now we need to upload the content that is exported from the cPanel. Basically, the compressed file from the CPanel File manager >> Public_html.

4.1 Mange Website:

Next, go to the Websites tab >> List Websites. Here you can find a website that you have already created. Click on the Manage option that is on the right side of this website page, this will give access to the Website Management Dashboard.

4.2 Upload and Extract Content:

Once you get into the website Management Dashboard. Select and open the file manager option you will find the public_html folder. Open this folder and click on the upload option where you need to upload the compressed file that was downloaded from cPanel to your computer.

Once the file is uploaded you need to extract the file to retrieve content from it.

Step 5: Create a Database in CyberPanel

After uploading content. We need to create a database that solves content issues.

5.1 Create database:

Click The Database button from the left side of the Dashboard or you can check the Database option from Available Functions.

Next Click On create database option >> select the website you added.

Fill in the required information about the website and Database credentials and then click on Create Database button.

5.2 Login to PHPMyadmin:

Get access to PHPmyadmin from Databases in CyberPanel Dashboard. The login screen will appear where you need to provide the credentials that are required to access.

5.3 Import DataBase to CyberPanel:

After creating the database. Click on Import Option, then select the file that is exported database file from cPanel. Click the “Go” button at the bottom right of the page.

Step 6: Change DNS

Finally, you need to update DNS records, if you are using any external DNS provider then go to the DNS provider platform and change the IP of cPanel with the IP address of CyberPanel. In the DNS section, there is a record section where you can replace the old IP with the new IP.
